Starting in 2020, the M550i received a number of significant updates:

- New-generation N63TU3 4.4 V8 – 390 kW / 750 Nm instead of 340 kW / 650 Nm.
- A significantly upgraded factory engine: BMW has addressed the main weaknesses of previous N63 engines in this version, including an updated timing chain, valve seals, pistons, and oil rings, cylinder liners, crankshaft bearings, and cylinder head gaskets; it also features S63TU4 rocker arms and exhaust camshafts, new, larger turbochargers, a fuel system, and engine management. The main issues with previous versions of this engine have been resolved.
- M Sport LSD rear differential.
- Next-generation MGU / iDrive 7 and fully digital Live Cockpit.

The car has a complete service history. Serviced exclusively at BMW dealerships in the U.S. Arrived from California with very minor front-end damage. All photos are included. Neither the radiators, the hood, the underbody, the chassis, nor—most importantly—the structural components or airbags were damaged.

All duties have been paid. The car is almost fully ready for inspection and registration in EU. A wheel alignment certificate is included.
