It is the absolute final iteration of the Aero 8 platform which launched in 2000, and most importantly, it is the last Morgan to ever leave the Malvern factory powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine.

Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show, the Aero GT was a highly exclusive runout edition restricted to exactly eight examples globally. Morgan offered these allocations exclusively to their most trusted existing clients, meaning all eight slots were sold out through the global retailer network before the car was even shown to the public. Each unit was hand assembled by the Special Projects division, with the buyer undergoing an individual design consultancy with Morgan Head of Design Jon Wells. While official numbers are not published, it is believed that very few of these eight cars were configured in Left Hand Drive, making this particular vehicle phenomenally rare.

The provenance and preservation of this car are extraordinary. After being purchased new through the authorized Swedish dealer, the front bodywork was immediately protected with clear Paint Protection Film. Following the handover, the owner drove the car directly to a secure storage facility located roughly 400 kilometers away. That single delivery journey accounts for almost the entirety of its 500 indicated kilometers. It has remained carefully stored and practically untouched ever since.

Visually, the car is finished in a brilliant green metallic over a black interior featuring matching green accents. The Aero GT introduced radical aerodynamic elements directly inspired by Morgan's 2009 GT3 race car. The hand worked body panels feature aggressive wing top louvers, restyled wing impressions, and a dramatic rear diffuser. These elements are completely functional, specifically developed to relieve low pressure zones, reduce drag, and significantly increase downforce. Highlighting the bespoke craftsmanship of the build, the GT badges adorning the car are not standard automotive trim, but are individually handmade and enameled by a British jeweler.

Under the long hood lies the BMW sourced N62 4.8 liter V8 engine producing 367 bhp. Keeping with the purist ethos of the GT program, all eight examples were strictly equipped with a six speed manual transmission. To handle the aerodynamic loads and provide a sharper, more focused driving dynamic, each car was also fitted with the latest fully adjustable suspension system developed by Morgan.

For the serious collector, the completeness of the delivery package is paramount. This vehicle is accompanied by its removable factory hard top and the dedicated wooden storage stand. Furthermore, it retains all original books, keys, and the exclusive factory build book containing photographs that document this exact car during its manufacturing process.
